Computer Repair
A dead computer is not an emergency. Losing what was on it is.
We repair desktops, laptops, all-in-ones and servers — Mac and Windows, any age. Diagnostics first, a quote second, and an honest answer about whether a machine is worth fixing at all. Most of the time it is.
Every day a failing drive stays powered on is a day closer to losing what is on it. Tell us the model and the symptom — we will give you a straight answer either way.
What We Fix
Common repairs
Will not boot or power on
Blue screens, boot loops, overheating, random shutdowns, liquid damage. We find the actual cause before anyone spends money on parts.
Virus, malware and ransomware
Removed, along with the hole that let them in. Browser hijacks, pop-ups and the slow crawl that comes with them.
Data recovery and migration
Failed drives, corrupted profiles, and moving everything onto a new machine without losing a folder.
Slow computers
An SSD and a memory upgrade is frequently the difference between a slow machine and a new one you did not need to buy.
Screens, batteries, keyboards
Laptop hardware replacement, hinges, ports and fans — for machines still worth keeping.
Custom PCs and home offices
Built for what you actually do — CAD, editing, accounting, gaming — and set up at your desk, not handed to you in a box.
Business fleet rather than one machine? Managed IT covers repair as part of the plan.
If it has a power button, bring it to us before you replace it.
The Process
What happens when you bring it in
01
Tell us the symptom
In your own words. "It gets hot and turns off" is a perfectly good description.
02
We diagnose
Before any parts are ordered or any number is quoted.
03
You get a quote
Including, when it applies, the recommendation not to repair it.
04
You get it back working
With an explanation of what was wrong that you can repeat to someone else.
Diagnosis before dollars, every time. You get the number before we touch it.
Questions
Repair questions
How much does a repair cost?
It depends on what is wrong, which is why we diagnose first. You always get a number before work begins.
Is my computer worth repairing?
Sometimes not, and we will tell you plainly. A five-year-old laptop needing a motherboard usually is not; the same laptop needing an SSD almost always is.
Will I lose my data?
Not if we can help it. Data preservation is the default and we tell you up front if a repair puts it at risk.
Do you fix Macs?
Yes, alongside Windows machines, servers and the phones and tablets attached to them.
Can you come to me?
Yes, throughout Northeast Ohio. Some repairs are faster at the bench, and we will tell you which.
The honest answer is free. The repair is quoted before it starts.
Backup & Security Compliance
SOC 2 Type II platforms
The backup and security platforms we deploy are independently SOC 2 Type II audited.
HIPAA controls, BAAs signed
Configured to the HIPAA Security Rule, and we sign Business Associate Agreements.
PCI DSS aligned
Cardholder environments segmented, encrypted and logged to PCI DSS requirements.
Your One Stop I.T. Shop
Whenever You Are Ready
Tell us what it is doing. We will tell you what it takes.
Or whether it is worth fixing at all — we will say so plainly rather than sell you a repair on a machine that has earned its retirement.
Stop nursing it along. Find out what is actually wrong.
